PAST PROJECTS
BARNSTORM
- 2000
BARNSTORM,
self-titled, first release of early millennium newcomers, Barnstorm.
Headed by singer/songwriter/guitarist Jeremy ‘Kane’
Lichter. Barnstorm explores the sounds of rock/blues/pop in
a masterful quartet setting. Excellently crafted songs and melodies
backed by soulful and heartfelt performances with unusual brilliant
arrangements. Recorded in just 3 days in a car garage in Los
Angeles, CA by recording veteran Gary Ladinsky (Eagles, Van
Morrison, Cheap Trick, Moody Blues) and Design FX Audio remote
recording facilities. Mastered by Joe Gastwirt at Oceanview
Digital.
Barnstorm’s quick success was followed by their quick
demise. After bushing arms in early 2000 with then unknown act
Maroon 5 in Santa Monica, CA and awaiting the release of their
self titled debut the band split up before touring to support
their record.
Produced By Gary Ladinsky and Barnstorm

KEITH
HOLLIS AND THE PO' BOYZ : HIGH ON THE BAYOU
Los Angeles and Boston based Hammond Organist and composer Keith
Hollis puts together his first solo effort from behind the organ
exploring his roots in the blues and his love of the Bayou and
sounds and rhythms of New Orleans. Teaming up again with Barnstorm
bandmate Sean “Buzzy” Mannion on drums and slide
guitarist Cory Williams. Keith has assembled a brilliant CD
full of soulful funk grooves, down-home blues and Bayou jams.
The full and screaming sound of the Hammond B-3 pairs brilliantly
with the electric slide guitar as Keith pays homage to one of
his childhood heroes, slide guitar virtuoso Duane Allman, on
the albums opening cut “One For Duane.” “High
On The Bayou,” the albums title track is another excellent
exploitation of the Hammond and slide guitar's ability to bring
your ears and heart way down south. Keith changes gears and
pays homage to his first love, the blues, on two tracks with
Louisiana born vocalist Mickey Champion and New Orleans born
blues guitar wizard Rodney “BR” Millon. The first
being a slow rendition of Billie Holiday’s “Fine
and Mellow” and Keith’s up tempo gospel/blues “Filet
Millon.”
